Cowell Ranch Hay Barn is a rustic barn and wedding venue located in Santa Cruz, CA. Originally constructed in the 1860s, the hay barn played a vital role in the operations and productivity of Cowell Ranch throughout the centuries, housing animals and feed.

Today, the team at UC Santa Cruz is proud to write a new chapter of this historic structure's story, as the barn has been lovingly rebuilt and transformed into an event venue. Featuring authentic heavy timbers and magnificent architecture, the hay barn stands as a tribute to the past and a place where new beginnings unfold.

Cowell Ranch Hay Barn is situated on 30 acres of picturesque farmland operated by the UC Santa Cruz Center for Agroecology.
